LLC “Eco-NICOR” is an organization that implements ecological, research and development works.
The principal activity of the organization is engineering, development, testing and production of ecology protection equipment. Most of all we are proud of having developed a guard that protects birds from electrocution on power transmission lines (6-10 kV), and this guard is produced in the city of Ulyanovsk.
Apart from producing bird guards we are always improving them and forming a family of guards, which make it possible to select a device according to the individual performing attributes of the particular transmission line.
Our team consists of technical and natural-science specialists. This helps to consider bird biological characteristics and to find the most optimal constructive solutions. Andrey Saltykov, our consultant is an expert on the problem of bird electrocution on transmission power lines in the “Russian Union for Bird Preservation”
With high mobility of our specialists we can make regular expeditions to remote areas and search zones with high risk of bird electrocution on power transmission lines, especially rare species, recorded in the Red Book of the Russian Federation. One of such zones is called “The Valley of Imperial Eagles”. This area has high mortality rate of Imperial Eagles from electrocution on power transmission lines.
Our bird guards are used all over the Russian Federation from its Western borders to remote areas of Siberia.
